Alpha (transparency) maps are used to hide the respective avatar's limbs and will need to be manually installed. You will find 15 alpha maps, covering every possible combination of missing limbs. In order to utilise an alpha map, you will need to do the following: 1. Select the avatar's body 2. Locate its material in the inspector 3. Set the "Rendering Mode" to "Cutout". This will add an "Alpha Mask" option below the "Main Colour" field. 4. Set "Alpha Mask" to "Replace" 5. Insert your desired alpha mask into the image field 6. Set the "cutoff" to a relatively high value. Around 0.9 works well.
